Well, the reason why you would feel yourself like this is misunderstanding and wrong notion of what network marketing really is. Businesses have used multi-level marketing strategies since 1920’s, but unfortunately with time most people used it in their pyramid schemes and for taking advantage over others, but..
To understand what network marketing is, we must at first understand what it is not. First of all Network marketing is not a Pyramid scheme. Pyramids are mostly fraud systems which convince people to invest money, then if they do not want to lose their money they should bring other people who will invest money and bring others and in a way you do not really understand you will become rich. This is not a Network Marketing. Pyramid schemes are bad thing and only a money game and generally have nothing to do with real commerce. Usually they don’t event involve any product at all, just money going from one owner to another. Of course, with time pyramids have evolved and may include a product, but it's only a way to camouflage the money game.
If a business uses network marketing as their sales model they must at first have a product that can be interesting for their potential customers, fair prices and well developed and organized system of networkers and their income management. Of course there are people who earn a lot of money through network marketing, but they achieve such results by hard working and building their own networks of people interested in products they sale and by creating real value for their customers.
Their working mechanisms are simple: if you earn money in a pyramid scheme, someone else loses it. Network marketing is totally different. Each person can multiply his/her own efforts, skills and income by helping others be successful. Network marketing has proved itself as a working, fair system. It is a part of the new developing economy and a preferred way to do business all around the world. Instead of spending millions of dollars on advertising and marketing campaigns, companies can give that money to their own customers and encourage them to bring other customers.
With Network marketing you do not take advantage of your friends and relatives. With time network marketing has developed itself. Only a few years ago, network marketing meant selling and engaging people who you personally knew. Despite sharing the products or services and the opportunity to earn with people you personally know is still the core of network marketing, today you can use Internet, Social Media platforms like Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, you can do conference calling and other long-distance events to extend your network all over the world.
As I mentioned before, some people do make a lot of money very quickly. You think that they were lucky when they started. But you can have no success in networking depending on the luck only, in the end luck is all about not missing opportunities in life. Success in network marketing is based on leveraging. You can leverage your time and increase the hours you work on doing sales or increasing your network, or you can leverage your network in order to involve more people you already know. As J. Paul Getty one said said "I would rather make 1 percent on the efforts of 100 people than 100 percent on my own efforts." This is one of the most important cornerstones in Network Marketing.
At first you should schedule your working process. Although Network marketing is a job type without any forced working hours, it is my advice you schedule and track what you do or else you will not be able to understand what are you doing right or wrong. When you just start you spend time on selling services or products your company offers and at the same time you try to build your own network. But with time passing, when you will have your own team who work as hard as you do, you can concentrate your whole time on teaching that people so they can teach others themselves and this is how your network will become larger and larger.
As this process continues, you create compound growth that can lead to hundreds or even thousands of people entering your own network. You leverage your time by helping others be successful and earn an income from all their efforts.
Network marketing does not require big money investment, if it requires at all. There no any limits for you to begin. Doesn’t matter where you live, what education or skills you have. Only thing you need for success Network marketing is your willingness to achieve more and hardworking. Besides Network marketing is fun and socially active way to earn money, because it is a people-to-people type of business that can significantly expand your personal network. It's a business that enables you to travel and have fun as well as enjoy the lifestyle that extra income can provide.
